So a few days ago the clothes dryer stopped spinning in the middle of a cycle and started making a horrible metal-on-metal screeching noise. After messing with it and not fixing a thing, we assumed the worst (that it was probably toast) and dried a few loads of clothes up at mom and dad's until we decided we'd just get rid of it. So I started asking around to see if anyone knew of someone getting rid of a dryer, checking Craig's list, etc. Before loading the dryer on the trailer this morning, Jacqueline convinced me to try to pull it apart and see if I could diagnose something and maybe fix it. I was reluctant as I know nothing about clothes dryers, but started pulling it apart anyways. When I got to like the 4th panel of the dryer that came off, I saw something that struck me as very out of place. Then it made me laugh very hard. It happens to be one of Austin's favorite things to play with, and was most definitely his fault. It made it down some tubing after being tossed in under the lint filter. It lodged in a little fan area and brought the whole machine literally to a screeching halt. We're still trying to work out appropriate punishment :). I'm thinking maybe the garbage duty may be his permanently. See pics below.

OH, that's priceless. I would make it fold laundry everyday for the rest of his life. I have a couple loads on my floor right now! Send him over!
Oh My!! I think I may pass out from laughing so hard!!!
Is the dryer fixed?
